Shantelle M. Munroe is an Associate and member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.  She joined the Firm in 2016, after working for several boutique law firms in The Bahamas.

Shantelle primarily advises on insurance law, including personal injury and fatal accidents.  She plays an active role on Graham Thompson's debt collection team, representing banks and insurance companies in their quest to recover overdue payments, seize assets pledged as collateral for loans, or foreclose on real property.  

Shantelle has recently gained expertise with family law matters, including divorce settlements and matrimonial disputes.  

She rounds out her work on Graham Thompson's litigation team representing international and local corporate entities with concerns over employee relations, tort law matters, and contract disputes.

Representative work includes:

  • Assisting lead counsel in representing a local insurance company at the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal;
  • Providing foreign counsel with legal advice on matters of Bahamian tort law, companies law and contract law; and
  • Working on commercial litigation matters relating to construction and development in The Bahamas.
