Judith A. Whitehead was a Litigation Partner prior to becoming the Managing Partner of the Firm. As a litigator she enjoyed a fine reputation in contentious family law and commercial litigation.

She now focuses primarily on advising the Firm’s high net worth private clients and assisting in negotiating agreements with Government on major resorts and multi-use developments.

She further heads up the Firm's Immigration & Naturalization practice group, where she oversees the application process and follow up for domestic and executive work permits, annual residency permits, permanent residence and citizenship applications.

Judy oversees the Firm’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations from her Nassau and Lyford Cay offices.

In December 2016, Judy was included in the Citywealth 2016 Powerwomen Top 200 listing, which recognizes  “200 of the most powerful women in government, private wealth, education, private client advisory and philanthropy across the international financial centres.”

Recent transactions include:

  • Negotiations with the Government of the Bahamas and structuring of a large multi-use development in the southern Bahamas;

  • Negotiations with the Government of the Bahamas in connection with a multi-use development in the Cable Beach area;

  • Providing advice to high net worth individuals on marital agreements and other strategic planning agreements; and
