Graham Thompson Attains BAND 1 Ranking from Chambers Global
March 9, 2014Chambers and Partners, the prestigious London-based legal services referral and ranking service, released its 2014 rankings of global law firms and attorneys in mid March. Leading Bahamian law firm Graham Thompson, founded by Peter Graham over 60 years, once again garnered a top ranking with a “BAND 1” designation for its Bahamian practice, as well as for its recently-opened Turks and Caicos Islands office.
According to Chambers Global editors “This leading commercial firm remains at the cutting-edge of the banking and financial services sector in The Bahamas. The team has significant experience in financing, corporate restructuring and capital markets, and clients include major real estate developers and financial institutions. The firm’s broader expertise also includes labour law, trusts and civil litigation.”
Several of Graham Thompson’s Partners received special mention, including former Attorney General Sean McWeeney, QC, who is “highly regarded for his knowledge of trusts” and commended for “his big-picture viewpoint, his greatest strength.”
