Kendira Turnquest is an Associate in the firm’s Property and Development and Financial Services, Practice Groups.
Kendira’s practice is focused primarily on real estate sales and acquisitions, real estate financing, residential and commercial leases, subdivision and condominium developments and resort restructuring. Her practice also includes, commercial transactions, corporate structures and shipping finance including incorporation of local and foreign companies, continuations, re-domiciliations and liquidations, and regulatory compliance for corporate entities.
Recent engagements include:
- Representing the receivers and lender involving a $3.5 billion receivership and sale of a luxury resort.
- Representing the lender in the $1.85 billion refinancing of a mega resort.
- Drafting and advising on shipping finance and liaise with the Bahamas Maritime Authority to complete registration of shipping mortgages.
- Reviewing and advising on corporate transactions regarding the liquidation of local companies and IBCs.
