GT ABACO – OFFICIAL OPENING

Marsh Harbour, Abaco, The Bahamas – On January 19th, GrahamThompson (GT) celebrated the official opening of the law firm’s Abaco office. Led by GrahamThompson Consultant Counsel Frederick F. Gottlieb, OBE, the office began operations a year ago, with effect from January 1, 2023.
“We have always wanted a full-time presence in Abaco, because it is important for us to be able to offer clients the full services offered by GrahamThompson”, Judy Whitehead, KC and GT Managing Partner. “Property purchases”, she emphasised, “whether primary residences or vacation homes are often the single largest investment that people make in their lifetimes and there can be more aspects to property ownership than closing a sale or a purchase”.
Located in Marsh Harbour, Mrs. Whitehead underscored that GT Abaco “is also seamlessly supported by GrahamThompson’s team of lawyers in Nassau and Freeport, with an equal commitment to the Abaco practice”. This includes Mr. Gottlieb’s son Conor, an Associate with the firm since 2019.
“We’ve known Fred for many years as a fellow practitioner at the Bahamas Bar. We’ve known the quality of his work and we are simply delighted to partner with him.
“We are also excited to have his son Conor, who is so ably following in his father’s footsteps.”
She added, “we are looking forward to making a meaningful contribution to the Abaco community”.
GT Abaco is GrahamThompson’s fourth office in The Bahamas. The firm has two locations in New Providence, including a downtown Nassau office and an office in Lyford Cay. The firm’s Grand Bahama office is located in Freeport.
