Nassau, The Bahamas – GrahamThompson Partner Aliya Allen will be a featured presenter at the upcoming Financial Literacy Fair & Digital Expo. Presented by the Central Bank of The Bahamas and Sand Dollar, the event is slated for April 28th and 29th at the Fusion Superplex, in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Saturday April 29th, Aliya Allen will be a featured panellist on the subject “The Future of Fintech in The Bahamas”. The panel will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Aliya is a Partner in the firm’s Financial Services, Private Client, Trusts and Estates Practice Groups. Her practice focuses primarily on banking, investment funds, securities, securitisation and capital markets. Technology, FinTech, blockchain and digital assets and regulatory matters such as FATCA, CRS, AML/CFT. She has written extensively on the legislative and regulatory framework for financial services in The Bahamas.
