Nassau, The Bahamas – In an initiative led by Graham Thompson Partner Aliya Allen, Chambers and Partners has published its Investment Funds Global Practice Guide, “Law and Practice” in The Bahamas.
The Guide is jointly authored by Allen, Graham Thompson Senior Partner Sean McWeeney QC, and Associate Sarah Packington, the guide represents a deep dive into the following core areas:

Recognised for her expertise in capital markets, investment funds and regulatory practice, Aliya Allen is a former CEO and Executive Director of the Bahamas Financial Services Board. She has continued to play a leading role in the development and revision of industry defining legislation in The Bahamas, including her leadership of Graham Thompson’s consulting team to the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, on the Investment Funds Act, 2019.
