Charisma is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services, and Private Clients and Trusts Practices.

Charisma regularly advises on trust related matters, investment funds, corporate and regulatory related matters, and commercial transactions. She has processed hundreds of cross-border trust and estate planning transactions.

Charisma joined GrahamThompson following a career in the financial services sector as a Trusts Officer. She is a full member (TEP) of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a designation awarded to experienced practitioners in the field.

Recent engagements

Assisting with drafting trust deeds and other ancillary documents related to trusts, including among other things, deeds of amendment and deeds of appointment.
Advising clients on trust related issues, such as termination of trust, amendment of the trust deed, change of trusteeship, appointment of trust related third parties, appointment of assets and other related issues.
Assisting with the drafting of documents necessary to facilitate the establishment/dissolution of professional investment funds.
Assisting with the procurement of regulatory approvals from the Securities Commission including registration as a digital exchange under the DARE Act, and registration as a registered firm under the Securities Industry Act (SIA).
Assisting with consulting on major legislative changes and advising multinational corporations on regulatory matters such as the Commercial Entities (Substance Requirements) Act, 2023, Common Reporting Standard, and others.
