Sir Michael Barnett is a Consultant Counsel in the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice. Formerly a senior partner in GrahamThompson for twenty-five years, Sir Michael is the founding Partner of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice.
In 2009, he was conferred the award of Knight Bachelor by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in recognition of his exemplary contributions to the judicial system of The Bahamas. In 2010, Sir Michael was made an Honorary Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn.
He is an exceptional litigator, with an illustrious career distinguished by public service and mentorship.
Sir Michael rejoined GrahamThompson in March 2026.
