Zia A. Lewis-Adams is as an Associate in the firm’s Property and Development Practice Group, and also the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group

Zia’s areas of practice include real property acquisitions and sales, domestic mortgages, private and commercial leases, employment disputes, divorce and matrimonial matters, administrative law and other civil and commercial disputes.

Recent engagements include:

  • Assisting lead counsel in a judicial review matter involving the consultation process surrounding the extension of the Hawksbill Creek Agreement.
  • Assisting as junior counsel on behalf of a private tertiary level institution in a successful judicial review application.
  • Generally advising an energy storage and trans-shipment company in Grand Bahama on its labour and employment matters.
  • Various mortgage and conveyancing transactions.
