
Nassau, The Bahamas. GT Partner Alistair Chisnall will be a featured panellist at the upcoming Bahamas Real Estate Exchange (BRX).
He will join other panellists in discussion on the theme, “Land Adjudication & Registered Land Reform in The Bahamas: Mapping the Future of Property Ownership”. According to BRX 2026 organisers, "this session will explore the evolving legal framework, implications for title security, and the broader impact on development and investment across The Bahamas".
Alistair along with GT Consultant Counsel Dana Wells, were members of the National Land Reform Committee, which after an extensive 3½ year process, drafted Bills that became the Land Adjudication Act, 2025 and the Registered Land Act, 2025. Historically significant legislation that radically reforms Bahamian land law and the conveyancing practice in The Bahamas.
BRX 2026 will take place Saturday April 18th at the British Colonial in downtown Nassau. Alistair’s panel is scheduled for 11:55 a.m. to 12:55 p.m.
